Step 1: Hear Words, Write them Down

Most learning is taught solely by lecture. This means in a “normal” classroom, teachers generally say a word, write it down on a board, and the student copies it onto their page. We want to replicate this environment for step 1 of the test.

Step 2: Pre-Test

After you have written down all of the words that you have heard, we want you to put the piece of paper away (and without any help) try to remember the words.

Step 3: Play MEMdo

With a new list of words and definitions, we want you to play MEMdo and use the new words.

Step 4: Post-Test

Once you have completed MEMdo with the list of new words, we want you to try to write down the definitions for each of the words.

Step 5: Feedback Video

Lastly, we’d love to hear your feedback on what you liked and didn’t like in MEMdo. What were your favorite parts? What did you not like? What would you like to see in MEMdo? What would be more helpful to your learning? What could make the game more fun? We’d love for you to answer some of these questions using flipgrid!
